Peter Gubler

lic. oec. HSG certified public accountant

I completed my  economics studies at the University of St. Gallen with a specialization in business services and taxes. I worked at ATAG in Zurich from 1976 to 1981 in the auditing department. During this time, I was also trained in auditing standards used in English-speaking countries. In 1981, I joined SUDAN PARTNER AG (Solidis today) as a partner. At the beginning of 2020, I ended my partnership because of my age. However, I am still available for corporate consulting and tax advice when my former clients request it.

I am also the President of Usafa AG, a family holding company based in Olten. Because of this function, I am also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Hoffmann Neopac AG in Thun, an international packaging company that employs around 1200 employees.

I am married to Tatjana and have three children from my first marriage. I used to be an enthusiastic, competitive tennis player and am still the team manager of the men’s national team A of TCF Trimbach. I was also a member of the central committee of Swiss Tennis for 14 years.

In my leisure time, I enjoy golfing and taking walks with Tatjana and our dog Yogi.
